The end of 2017 is near and the period after the Survivor Series is always a transitional stage for the WWE. They just want to put on some good TV, to keep the ratings at the decent level as they are getting ready for the Road to Wrestlemania. As soon as the build for the Royal Rumble starts, the rumors about who is going to face who, at the grandest stage of them all, start swirling around.
Justin LaBar, somebody that is very well-known in the internet wrestling community, has his four most likely duels that are going to happen at Mania picked out. He gives us a good reason for every single match taking place in April.
Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar is the battle that Vince wants to main event the show. They are avoiding each other for now, but barring any big setbacks or injuries, Roman Reigns is likely going to become the champion in New Orleans. The two won their matches vs. Cena and Strowman at No Mercy, which is a strong indication that they will meet at Mania.
The other big duel is Mahal vs. Cena, giving Cena record title reign at the grandest stage of them all. The leader of Cenation beating an evil foreigner is something that we have seen already and will likely see again.
LaBar thinks that Undertaker isn’t done, that he has had some great matches with big men and that Braun Strowman is going to be next in line.
The final battle that he thinks is going to happen is Ronda Rousey battling Charlotte. Ronda has been heavily linked to the WWE and Charlotte, those rumors started swirling around a while ago. This is the biggest match that WWE can book for women, so the company will do everything it takes to make it happen.
