Brother of WWE superstar Dolph Ziggler was sentenced to 15 years in prison because of the death of military veteran Joshua Mascol which occurred after the botched robbery went wrong. The wrestler’s brother was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter together with his companion Jack King.
He was convicted over the death of a military veteran during a botched robbery. Because of that, Ziggler’s brother is going to be imprisoned for 15 years. His name is Donald Nemeth, and he pleaded guilty with accomplice Jack King on charges of kidnapping, robbery, and involuntary manslaughter. King, who is 52 is going to serve 17 years in jail, whereas both men were implicated in January 2016 for the death of Joshua Mascol.
Nemeth knew Mascol for years, and he bought illegal substances from the 34-year-old man. The duo, King, and Nemeth came to a decision to rob the veteran in the University Hotel and Suites in Cleveland’s Central neighborhood, but when the scuffle happened, one of them shot Mascol. The police struggled to detect the shooter because both of them refused to admit who fired the shot, while the surveillance camera in the hotel couldn’t clearly show the gunman.
Ziggler’s brother Nemeth, 37, apologized to Mascol’s family in court, saying that it was the addiction that made him behave in that way and eventually commit the crime. He said: “I’ve been battling severe addiction issues and I lost a good friend because of it.”
The wrestler Dolph Ziggler, whose real name is Nicolas Nemeth, is a two-time intercontinental champion and one-time United States Champion. Now, he has to watch his brother go to prison.
