Namely, she has been the longest reigning WWE Divas Champion, and although she has nothing left to prove, she would like to end her career in the best possible way. Rumor has it that WWE officials plan Nikki Bella’s last match to be at WrestleMania 33 in Orlando, which is the grandest stage of them all.
Another rumor is that John Cena won’t be in the WWE title match in Orlando, but WWE officials have something else in mind for this guy, which is a battle of Nikki Bella and John Cena vs. The Miz and Maryse. Nikki and John have competed as a couple for approximately four years, but only recently did the company acknowledge their relationship on WWE programming.
If they come together to Nikki’s retirement match, John might even propose to her, according to some reports. Imagine what a great moment for ending a career that would be. There has also been some speculation that Nikki Bella will be featured in the SmackDown Women’s Championship match at Wrestle Mania. However, it seems highly unlikely. A match with John Cena is a far better idea.
Not only will this be a great moment for Nikki, but for the WWE Universe, as well. She is certainly one of the most important women in WWE history. Witnessing her career has been a great pleasure for an incredibly large number of people, therefore watching her retire in a proper way would be a great closure for such a lovely story.
