This tag team is the one that deserves HOF place more than any other. But, they are only perennial candidates because Ax (Bill Eadie) left WWE in 1991, and hasn’t been in good terms with them since.
In the late 80’ Demolition held the tag team title and they were the longest reigning champions until The New Day broke their record. Back in the day, they headlined the shows, thanks to their popularity and dominance.
Their problems with WWE started when they disputed the company over Demolition gimmick. Afterwards, they went into a legal dispute with WWE over head injuries. With all of this, you would say that they will never reach the Hall of Fame, but they deserve it nonetheless. The best tag team in history should be inducted into HOF straight away in 2018.
