Jon Favreau’s character Happy Hogan appeared in the Iron Man movies and when the last sequel Iron Man 3 was in the theaters three years ago, many believed that that was the last movie in which Happy Hogan would be in. Luckily that is not true. It is confirmed that Happy Hogan will be in a new “Spider-Man: Homecoming. However, we don’t know how big or small his role will be.
Jon Favreau was seen in the company of Kevin Feige, the president of Marvel, star Tom Holland and two directors Anthony and Joe Russo. We don’t know why exactly Jon Favreau was in Atlanta, but one of the possibilities is that he will appear in a new Spiderman movie. He spoke to Yahoo! Movies and this is what he had to say:
“Well, as far as directing goes, I had done two back-to-back, and that required a tremendous amount of concentration on one subject. Fortunately, I didn’t lose connection with it; I just wasn’t directing there. I still was executive-producing Avengers and Avengers: Age of Ultron and Iron Man 3, and I appeared in Iron Man 3. So I maintained the relationship as part of the family. And now, in Spider-Man: Homecoming, coming back and reuniting with the characters as an actor – it’s a lot of fun. It allows me to maintain the relationship with the MCU, but also to do other things that are interesting that are outside of that genre and that set of characters.”
Source:screenrant.comIt appears that the Avengers headquarters in upstate New York will be used for some of the scenes in “Spider-Man: Homecoming”. Moreover, Tom Holland posted series of photos at the Porsche headquarters in Atlanta which is also used to film “Avengers: Age of Ultron” and “Ant-Man”. So because of this, we cannot know why Jon Favreau is here.
The production of the “Spider-Man: Homecoming” shifted to New York and the movie will hit theaters on July 7, 2017. Stay tuned for new updates.
