Will Ferell to play Kanye West!

During an interview for first “W” magazine his and hers fashion issue, Kanye stated that he would like Will Ferrell to play him in a movie about his life! Kanye said “He is one of my personal gods. I would like Will Ferrell to play me in The Kanye West Story. Can you make that happen?”

He loves this actor so much that he even identified himself as Buddy the Elf (played by Ferrell) in Christmas movie Elf. The reason why he compared himself to Buddy the Elf is pretty much because he isn’t taken seriously in the fashion world as a designer. They see him only as a musician, not a serious designer and that is why he stated that in their eyes he is just like Buddy the Elf being “to big for his hands to make toys.” Kanye also looked back ten years ago and said that even then he managed to “build things that mean things to people.”

All of the effort that he put in his brand (Yezzy) was with some or no help on the apparel side. He is stating that Yezzy is one of the leading trendsetting brands, well one out of top four trending brands in fact. He also mentioned the deal he signed with Adidas, his own atelier and the team working on his brand together with the consultants he helped gather around his project. What is probably a little-known fact is that Kanye actually has a Ph.D. in art but according to him that makes little or no difference to people in fashion branch. In that interview, it was obvious that he has a passion for this and that he put everything he has into the Yezzy project, both money and will, but no, people are always, according to him, like “Shut the f**k up-try to write a rap!”
