Why is Hollywood avoiding to part Hulk Hogan for this long?

5The early work

While we all love Hulk Hogan and his work back in the day, we also must be objective and honest. His work was not all that impressive. Well, it was for the 80s and 90s, but with nowadays standards, he basically did action movies for kids. From his cameo in Rocky III as a wrestler named “Thunderlips,” to a role in the cult classic No Holds Barred (he played a popular wrestler named Rip) and a TV series called Thunder In Paradise. During these he got a nickname “Hollywood” Hulk Hogan but to be honest, these were all some cheesy action movies that were made in that golden era of wrestling during the 80s and 90s. His final major role came in 1998 when he played in The Ultimate Weapon. Thanks to change that impacted movies back then and thanks to the rise of actors who did their own stunts like Jet Li and Jackie Chan, people naturally wanted something serious from their action star and Hulk, unfortunately, didn’t make the cut.
