Smith had an awful injury in his last game at college, and because of that, he missed his entire rookie season. In his second season, he got his playing time and first snaps. Jaylon wasn’t a starter which was expected. It was not easy for him both physically and mentally after the injury he had, but he did well. Next season, after another training camp, he will be readier, with better knowledge of football game. The third year should be crucial for his development. With his physical built and work ethic, we do not doubt that Jaylon Smith will be the player to watch in 2018.
