Yay Star Wars fans we have some great news for you today! The official trailer for the Star Wars: The Last Jedi is finally out, and after all those teasers now we can see “much” more. One of the things we saw and liked instantly is the return of Mark Hamill’s Luke Skywalker, and apparently, he will have a big role in this one, meaning we will see him a lot more than we did in the entire Star Wars: The Force Awakens, back in 2015.
From the trailer we found out that the story will continue from the same place it stopped, and for those who do not know it was on the planet Ahch-To where resistance fighter Rey (Daisy Ridley) came seeking Luke in order to tutor her. What is even more interesting is that we saw but unfortunately, did not hear, Carrie Fisher (General Leia Organa) who, if you recall, died last December after she managed to finish her work on the film. But that is not all for this trailer, because it showed more cast from The Force Awakens in their prominent roles, like Adam Driver, John Boyega and Oscar Isaac.
Since we are on the topic of characters, the two new cast members Laura Dern and Benicio Del Toro are still hidden from the audience and we might not see them until the movie comes out, or we just might see them earlier but in some kind of disguise or prosthetics that will make them virtually unrecognizable. There is also someone else missing from the trailer, and it’s the much announced Rose (Kelly Marie Tran), a starfighter that is supposed to play a major role in this film. As a balance to these missing characters, the trailer lets us have a peek at the Porg, which is a puffy creature that might actually be the next cutest thing in the Star Wars universe since the Ewoks first appeared in Return of the Jedi.
The next big thing from the Lucas Films ltd. will hit the theaters on December 15, and what is even more interesting is that the ticket sales started as the video was published. Hurry up and get yours quickly, because The Last Jedi seems to bring some brightness into the Star Wars franchise. We can’t wait, how about you?!
