Well, this one was unexpected for sure. This is the most surprising thing we said for some time, but it is what it is – Deadpool is not all that straight. You all saw the movie, and in it Deadpool is pretty straight right?! Well, the fact is that both writers and Ryan Reynolds (who plays Deadpool) have openly admitted Mr. Pool is actually a lot more than that. Deadpool is described by Reynolds as a character that does and is “whatever his brain tells him to be that day” which was confirmed by co-creator Fabian Nicieza. Basically, this guy is and will be, with anyone and anything he wants to be at any given moment. This is probably one of Deadpool’s features, so many of us like. Even Reynolds stated in one of the Variety articles that he would love for Deadpool to have a boyfriend in the sequel so that he can break another boundary of traditional superhero roles.
