When we mention WWE, there is no doubt that Monday Night Raw is one of the biggest things that come up to our minds. It has been the flagship show for this company for a very long time now, and it is iconic to the Wrestling business. Actually, it has been around for almost 25 years. It has seen all of the brightest days and some of the darkest days that WWE and WWF have had.
This January, Vince is going to have a Monday Night Raw edition that is marking the 25th Aniversary of the show. It is going to take place on January 22nd at the Barclays Center in Manhattan, New York. According to the reports, both Smackdown Live and Monday Night Raw superstars are going to be there so we can expect some major matches and things to happen on this show.
There are also going to be a couple of appearances from the stars of the past like Shawn Michaels, Kevin Nash, and most notably, The Undertaker. This man is going to appear on WWE TV for the first time since losing to Roman Reigns at Wrestlemania, putting down his gear in the middle of the ring and actually retiring from competitive wrestling.
On the 1000th edition of Raw, we have seen some major angles and some bigtime storyline progressions, with the one being CM Punk turning heel on The Rock and John Cena. WWE might not have something as big happen on this edition of Raw, but it is the show at the start of the road to Mania, so anything can happen. Maybe Taker returns for one more battle at the grandest stage of them all in order to end his career on a high note? It’s not probable, but it is possible for sure.
