Trailers

The latest trailer has revealed that this title will arrive soon and you can see it here:

Uncharted 4 may be the last game in the series that shows adventure of Nathan Drake, but there is a lot more to Uncharted. Just take a look at the Uncharted: The Lost Legacy debut trailer right here:

The introduction of The Lost Legacy was surprising when it opened this year’s PSX event. Many believed that Uncharted 4 was going to be the last of the series and they were partially right because the story will no longer revolve around Nathan Drake as the other characters we have previously mentioned will be our protagonists.

Namely, Chloe Frazer from Uncharted 2 and Nadine Ross from Uncharted 4 will take center stage, but their role and what they will be going through is not completely clear at this point. The reference to the video’s description is a “fabled ancient Indian artifact” the duo will try to recover. This Uncharted game will be slightly different from the previous in the series since the preview downplays gunfights and emphasizes stealth and hand-to-hand combat.

Story

We don’t know the entire plot of the new game, but after Uncharted: The Lost Legacy was officially presented at PSX 2016, Naughty Dog creative director Shaun Escayg was willing to reveal some of the story details. First of all, the game will take place after the events of Uncharted 4.

Secondly, we will have different protagonists as we have already said, while the debut trailer is actually the opening moment of the game. Furthermore, the story is set in India, and the treasure they are looking for is called Tusk of Ganesha. In order to make this game, the development team took a “deep dive” into Hinduism and the mythology of the region, according to Escayg. Also, the story will be shorter than Uncharted 4, but longer than The Last of Us: Left Behind, confirmed Kurt Margenau, the game director.

Villain and Some Other Details

The main villain in the new game will be Asav, who is out to find a rare jewel, reports Game Informer. Naughty Dog confirmed that The Lost Legacy will be a full-length adventure and not just some DLC afterthought.

“There’s no way we could, sort of, constrict and restrain ourselves,” said Naughty Dog director of communications Arne Mayer. “When we were doing story pitches, we were coming up with a game that would be over ten hours long and so we suddenly realised everything we said was true and we couldn’t keep it short.”
