Transformers: The Last Knight will be a mixture of new and old. First of all, cast from the original trilogy will be united with the cast from the new movie for the first time, in order to create something great. Josh Duhamel and Tyrese Gibson who play Colonel Lennox and Sergeant Robert Epps respectively will join forces with Mark Wahlberg and Stanley Tucci who had roles of Cade Yager and
Joshua Joyce. Moreover, new actors who have never been in a Transformers movie will also appear.
Transformers: The Last Knight will travel back in time, all the way to Nazi Germany. The movie will take us even further in the past and we will be in the time when legendary King Arthur ruled. Some of the old vehicles will come back on the screen, such as the famous Hot Rod. The movie is being filmed on many locations. First, they have started in Detroit, after which they have moved to Cuba, to end in London where they film now.
Many photos have been recorded since the crew arrived in London. You can see pictures on ComingSoon.net as filming takes place around Buckingham Palace. On the pictures, you can see Bumblebee and Hot Rod together and @eleanorxsenga posted a short video on Twitter where the cars were in a chase near Royal residence.
On the photos, Transformers are shown in the vehicle mode. Anyway, it will be absolutely great to see Decepticons and Autobots in the era of King Arthur. What a contrast would that be! Moreover, Anthony Hopkins will also star in a movie, but we don’t have the foggiest idea what his role may be.
Considering that the Age of Extinction received a lot of negative critiques, The Last Knight is expected to be much better. In spite of the poor reviews, the last two Transformers movies made a profit over $1 billion in worldwide box office sales, which proves that people still love the idea about robots disguised as vehicles.
Transformers: The Last Knight will be in theaters on June 23, 2017.
