When you need a big play, you turn to your wideouts. The best of them can make a play with a ball and change the momentum of the game. There are some good wideouts left in the Championship round, so let’s take a look at them and rank them.
Honorable mention: Jordy Nelson – probably won’t be able to play because of an injury, so that is why we are not going to rank him.
5. Davante Adams – Green Bay Packers – Adams stepped up when Packers needed him the most in these two duels in the postseason. He is a great target for Aaron Rodgers, and we expect another big show from him against the Falcons. Green Bay needs him at the top of his game.
4. Randall Cobb – Green Bay Packers – With Jordy Nelson unable to play in the second half against the Giants and Dallas, Cobb stepped up and led the way for Packers wideouts.
3. Julian Edelman – New England Patriots – When Rob Gronkowski is not on the field, Brady’s go-to guy is Julian Edelman. Even though he plays in the slot, he can line up on the outside and make big plays. He is also pretty valuable in the punt-return situation.
2. Julio Jones – Atlanta Falcons – A big target that can move like a smaller player, Julio Jones is a big threat and a big problem for every defense. Even though the defenses know that he is going to get the ball, they can’t do a thing to stop this man.
1. Antonio Brown – Pittsburgh Steelers – When he is not on a Facebook Live, Antonio Brown is a beast on the field. His quickness and speed are unmatched, and his playmaking is off the charts. Brown is arguably the best wideout that NFL has to offer at this point.
