Any serious wrestler fan will tell you that the craziest moment in the history of this sport was the Montreal Screwjob. In 1997, Bret Hart, who was the WWF champion at the time, wanted to sign with the WCW, but he didn’t want his rival Shawn Michaels to take all the glory. During the main event at Survivor Series, both Bret and Michaels were told that they would not lose the match. Suddenly, the referee stopped the match when Michaels had Hart in a submission hold and gave him the belt even though Hart never tapped. Both wrestlers were perplexed.
