22017 Ford GT
So far, we have seen powerful vehicles, but the Ford GT is something different (also powerful though). It was assembled to pay homage to Ford’s Le Mans-winning GT that ruled the track in the 1960s. The new model is a two-seat coupe that is completely made out of aluminum and carbon fiber and because of this, the car weighs only around 3,200 pounds. Under its hood is a heavily upgraded 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 powerplant that produces 647 hp and 550 lb-ft of torque and the power is distributed to the rear wheels. Being light and powerful, the GT can go from 0 to 60 mph in slightly under 3.0 seconds making it one of the fastest in the world. If you want to drive it on the track, the best way to do it is select the Track mode.
There are some specifics we need to mention. For example, at highway speeds, the rear wing deploys and the wing doubles as an air brake once the vehicle starts to decelerate. The aforementioned Track mode will lower the car 50 millimeters, but the same thing will happen if you select V-Max driving mode. However, the starting price of the 2017 Ford GT is $450,000, and that is without any individual customizations or additional kit. Also, you cannot purchase one unless you are invited.
