If there was ever a movie franchise which should have been stopped after part 3 than it was this one! This franchise was all over the place with the story starting from Billy killing Sidney’s mother because she forced his mother to abandon him. Then there was the idea that Billy’s mother came back for revenge. After that, we had Roman in the third movie which was basically the angry product of a one night stand with his father and Sidney’s mother, and everyone ate that up too. Roman started the avalanche of blood that became Scream, it’s understood, but the remake of the movie so close to the other films before it was really unnecessary.
