Villains are usually the guys that are responsible for getting babyfaces over with the fans. Their goal is to get booed by the fans and to do everything in their power to get the face that they are working with over. Looking strong is a must for a guy that has this role, especially those monster heels like one or two of the guys on this list.
Honorable Mentions: Jinder Mahal – he is getting a title shot at Backlash PPV, so we need to put him here as he is clearly getting a push; The Miz – Even though The Miz himself is the one to credit for his rise, it seems that company likes him right now.
3) Kevin Owens – This guy wasn’t booked very well with the Universal Title, but the old Kevin Owens was back during the last couple of weeks with that title, and he is the same old KO now with the US Belt. WWE is putting him in a high-profile feud with AJ Styles which shows the level of confidence that they have in him.
2) Baron Corbin – There are reports that Baron Corbin is going to be challenging for the WWE title later in the year when bigger shows like Summerslam come. He has been impressive and is improving each and every week. Corbin is going to be a big player for the WWE by the end of this year as he is getting a push and it should only get stronger.
1) Braun Strowman – Monster Among Men, is the number one heel in the company right now. One of the best things that came out of this brand split is the rise of Braun Strowman. They have been pushing this guy and building him up each week. Almost no mistakes were made with him so we should expect more of the things we saw from Braun.
