Taking a look at events during this season is a good thing when your team was as good as the Dallas Cowboys were. They won’t likely forget what happened in good times this year, but they won’t forget that final game either. Still, it was a good year for Dallas and here are the players that led the way this season.
3) Zach Martin, Offensive Guard – We can simply pick almost any player from the offensive line, Frederick would be our second choice, but we are rolling with Martin. He has good awareness on blitz pickups, and he works really well on sustaining and finishing his blocks. Zach is a good protector and run blocker, pivots, turns and runs, uses his hands pretty well and just does it all on the offensive line.
2) Dak Prescott, Quarterback – The most important position in the NFL is the one that Dak handled this season for Dallas. His conversions on third downs were off the charts, his instincts, ball security, and poise were amazing for a rookie. Decent arm, good decision making led the way for a great Dallas Cowboys season. This man just might be the future of this franchise.
1) Ezekiel Elliot, Running Back – There is no doubt about the fact that he has been the best running back in the NFL this year. He is running behind a great offensive line. Hitting the holes at the right time and sprinting with blazing speed is what makes him and this Cowboys’ running game great. Elliot can also be used as a pass catcher and is a good blocker for a running back. The best player for Dallas this season, this guy made it all the winning in Big D possible with his rushing.
