22. Rusev

WWE had big plans for Rusev, who was on the road to becoming one of the top guys for the company. But something went wrong. At WrestleMania 31, Rusev lost his United States Championship to John Cena, and this was a cornerstone event for him. He was still relevant after the defeat, and he got engaged to Lana backstage in real life, even though in WWE, these two were supposed to be in a feud.
He started off this year with a loss to The Big Show and then, unfortunately, got injured after which he returned only to lose to John Cena in his first PPV fight after the recovery. That is not all as Orton beat him at SummerSlam and Hell in a Cell match.
