Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights) is basically a natural light display in the sky. It occurs as a result of a collision between electrically charged particles from the Sun entering the Earth’s atmosphere. You can see pale green and pink as the most common colors, but shades of violet, green, blue, yellow and red have also been reported. It also takes a lot of different forms that shuffle from streamers, arcs, or rippling curtains to scattered or patchy clouds.
