There are movie cars that attract attention because of their beauty and quality. Some do it because of the crazy design and goofy looks. Sometimes cars transcend their mechanical nature and become bonafide characters that people adore. That was the case in the movie ‘Smokey and the Bandit.’ Movies often have various machines that play focal roles, however, cars always find the way to win our hearts. That’s the reason why an original black 1977 Pontiac Trans AM SE is currently worth as much as a house.
This time we won’t stray too far from the list brought to us by Donut Media. Thanks to them, we have a list of some of the most hilarious vehicles that appeared on the big screen. Some of these models are true gems, and we have to admit that folks from Donut Media really did their research with these. It surely wasn’t easy going through tons of films looking for goofy looking vehicles.
A true proof that the list is good is its first example. The deskmobile from a comedy called ‘The Nude Bomb’ from 1980. The movie was a revisit of the James Bond parody so you won’t be surprised when you see that the deskmobile has machine guns. Do you remember that TV show ‘Get Smart’ from 1960’s? How about the Landmaster from the ‘Damnation Alley’? The producer had no intention to make the movie funny, he rather wanted to combine its post-apocalyptic premise with 1980’s special effects.
We wanted to interest you in the list, and we believe we succeeded in doing so. We won’t spoil the rest, but we have to express grief since the Dude’s Ford Torino from ‘The Big Lebowski’ wasn’t added here or the well-known AMC Pacer from ‘Wayne’s World.’ Even without those we still believe that you are in for a treat with this list.
