Game of Thrones is arguably one of the most popular shows ever, and it is one of the most expensive ones as well. Even though it wasn’t renowned at its inception, it became talked about on a daily basis from season 3 or 4. The budget for season 6 was $100 million for ten episodes, whereas the season 7 budget increased for more than $10 million per episode. It is speculated that $15 million will be spent on the last season, per episode, and since it is not yet filmed, Game of Thrones remains proudly on place number 6.
