Jaguar’s D-Type was another vehicle sold at the same auction as the Alfa Romeo 8C. The car you can see here won Le Mans in 1956 when it was equipped with a 3.4-liter I6 engine that produced 285 horsepower and reached 156 miles on the Mulsanne straight. Fascinating.
