Perkins spent eight years with the Cowboys, and he was a member of the 1960 inaugural team. In eight seasons, this man was team’s rushing leader six times. He was one of the best players of Dallas franchise who failed to get hold of the trophy despite the fact that he got selected to Pro Bowl six times. Dallas had two consecutive losses in 1966 NFL Championship Game against the Green Bay Packers and 1967 NFL Championship Game, both times failing to reach the Super Bowl.
