Everyone has heard of Need For Speed game. You personally have played at least one Need For Speed title. The original Need For Speed game was released in 1994 for PlayStation console and it has been nothing but love ever since. Even though it wasn’t until its third installment in 1998 that the NFS story-line really struck cord with players it was indeed a well known and well renowned game. In 1998 Need for Speed III: Hot Pursuit was released and you had a chance to run from cops or be a cop who is hunting obnoxious drivers. You had some of the most exotic cars on the planet available to you, all the way from the Ferrari 550 Maranello to the Mercedes-Benz CLK GTR.
The pioneer Hot Pursuit title later spawned five other pursuit-themed Need For Speed games and even though it lacked an open world concept fans of the franchise loved all installments that followed. Intense and fun game-play with great graphics guaranteed success back then. And that’s exactly what these games were, they were successful.
