8Chuck Norris
This remarkable guy trained the martial art of Tang Soo Do while he was in the United States Air Force as an Air Policeman. He was discharged in 1962, and he decided his time is best spent by running a chain of karate schools. He competed in many tournaments which eventually lead to him becoming the first Westerner to be named an 8th Degree Black Belt Grand Master in Tae Kwon Do. Sometime in that period, his acting career started, and thanks to the appearance as a Bruce Lee’s nemesis in 1972’s Way of the Dragon, he became noticed. After that, he started in several movies like An Eye for an Eye (1981) and Delta Force (1986), and he was the Texas Ranger for full nine seasons of the CBS’s series “Walker Texas Ranger.” A recent big role for him was in The Expendables 2 with Sylvester Stallone.
