9OJ Simpson
As you know, the OJ Simpson story is anything but a story with a happy ending, and lately, it’s being approached very cautiously. But if you did not know, before all of the fuss with the law, OJ was a remarkable sports icon and a bellowed movie star. Just how highly successful football career he had is indicated by titles like the fastest player to gain 1,000 rushing yards in a season, and many others. But even before his official retirement from football, OJ started flirting with the movie industry. Some of his early work was in TV Series like Roots (1977) and The Klansman (1974), but on the big screen, he is best remembered for his role in The Naked Gun trilogy films. Before all the problems with the law and his downfall, sometime in the ‘80s and early ‘90s, he started something that looked a very successful acting career. As a matter of fact before everything collapsed in his life, he had finished a pilot for an NBC TV movie called “Frogmen” that unfortunately never aired.
