The news about a car accident in which Paul Walker lost his life, was a huge blow to the big man and Hashian was beside him when he heard about it. She was there as a support through that difficult part of the life.
Roger Rodas was driving, and Walker was in the co-driver seat when they crashed into a tree going from a charity event. This is what Dwayne said to The Hollywood Reporter in an interview. “I was driving with Lauren when she immediately turned very quiet and was looking at me, studying, wondering if I knew.”
“I pulled over and looked at my messages and had a moment where I just caught my breath,” he continued. “We said a prayer right then to give his daughter strength — because we had talked about our daughters. Then once we got home, we started bawling.”
