The widow of Hugh Hefner revealed the actual reason for marrying him!

What Hugh Hefner left behind is four children and his young wife Crystal Hefner, who was a “bunny girl” in his mansion.

This marriage raised a great deal of speculation in the media. When they got married in 2012, the groom was 84 years old, and the young girl was only 26. The difference of six decades did not seem to bother anyone, though it is interesting that the magazine that Hefner had launched was twice as old as his wife.

The owner of the most famous men’s magazine asked his beloved to marry him on Christmas Eve of 2010. Hefner made his announcement on Twitter and described the event as “the most beautiful Christmas week he remembers,” and said that Kristal burst into tears when he proposed.

“Yes, the ring I gave Crystal is an engagement ring. I didn’t mean to make a mystery out of it. A very merry Christmas to all.” Hefner said later in the paper.

Three years after the engagement a couple got married. In one of the interviews in 2013, Crystal gave an interesting answer to a Huffington Post journalist who asked why she decided to marry a man who is 86 years old:

‘Well for me it meant more security, knowing that I am the one for him,’ she said.

‘Like we were talking about, there are always girls in and out and always the feeling of maybe being replaced… And he made sure I didn’t feel that way anymore and that was what the wedding was all about.’

As she said, before she met Hugh Hefner she had never seen a celebrity person in person, but they quickly hit it off. Their common topic was of psychology, which both of them studied, and as Crystal explained, she had “1,000 questions to ask him.”

She described her husband as gentle and romantic, and she claims that the difference in years was not a problem.

“We really worry about each other and we get along perfectly. I do not notice the age gap. Heff is very fun, she said in 2013.”

Crystal will not inherit the 43 million-dollar wealth of Hugh Hefner after all.

The owner of the famous brand had two marriages before Crystal as well as four children who will inherit him. Crystal herself signed a pre-contract, according to which, as the media wrote, she would be taken care of, however not be a part of Hefner’s will.
