We’ve all witnesed people being innovative when it comes to impressing celebrities or just others on Internet. This time, one person made a portrait of Dwayne The Rock Johnson, and not just any portrait, but portrait made of Rubik’s Cubes.
It is safe to say Rubik’s Cubes have another purpose other than making your brain work hard to solve it, and that purpose is artistic kind. Person behind this purpose coming to life is Giovanni Contardi.
His creations have been displayed at Gallery 104 in New York, and he had done many celebrities’ portraits, such as Justin Timberlake, Will Smith, Iron Man…
Contardi’s newest creation, portrating The Rock, took 725 Rubik’s Cubes. He posted caption: „I was honoured to make this piece in collaboration with @wwe.“ It was something he wanted to do for quite some time. He said that The Rock is „a big source of inspiration in regard of getting sh*t done“. We could all agree with that since we see The Rock working very hard in maintaining his shape in addition to his intense acting career.
Many are impressed by this portrait, but The Rock the most, since he even shared this art on his Instagram with caption „Holy sh*t @jvenb this is dope. Thank you man for the love. And the fact that it took a record setting 725 Rubik’s Cubes due to the siye of my big ass face is also great for the ego. Amazing job!“.
This year is busy for The Rock. He has 15 upcoming projects listed on IMBD. He’s signed on to multiple sequels including Suicide Squad, San Andreas and Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle.
Next year, we will see him in The Fast and the Furious spin-off Hobbs and Shaw, together with Jason Statham. And in many other movies and we’re looking foward to that.
