One of the world’s biggest movie stars, Dwayne The Rock Johnson is a great guy that we all love dearly, and now we have some additional news about his potential run for the Presidential seat! According to the former WWE star, Chris Jericho, the Rock may really aim at the Oval Office after all. We all know that Arnold Schwarzenegger used to be a senator, why wouldn’t The Rock try to become the President of the United States?
During The Rich Eisen Show on Wednesday, Chris Jericho stated that he believes that the Rock will ‘eventually’ run for president! We’ll leave a link to the interview below.
We heard the man himself talk about running for President in May, but more and more people are now entertained by the idea. In an interview with Caity Weaver of GQ, he claimed that it is a ‘real possibility.’
‘I think that it’s a real possibility,’ The Rock stated.
What’s even more interesting is the fact that a man from West Virginia filed an official campaign committee named ‘Run The Rock 2024‘ that is valid and has the Federal Election Commission there on behalf of Johnson! People seem to really adore this man.
Dwayne The Rock Johnson will have to say goodbye to acting for some time if he was really in for switching his acting career for the one in politics. And that surely won’t be easy considering how successful he really is. The Rock is the world’s second highest-paid actor, and it is estimated that he earned a grand total of $65 million starting on June 1, 2016, through June 1, 2017, according to Forbes magazine.
The Rock will, however, have to wait until 2024 because that’s the year of the next US presidential election. Dwayne, you have some time to think about it and please, run for President, you have our vote!
