53. Hulk Hogan vs. Randy Savage

This one is a bit off of this list, and we will explain why. The fight between Hogan and Savage happened only once, but the length of their feud and the way it unfolded falls into a legendary category. Many didn’t know this, but these two were supposed to hit WrestleMania V right after Savage beat DiBiase to win the WWF Championship at WrestleMania IV. These two were supposed to form The Mega Powers and defeat DiBiase and Andre at SummerSlam 1988, just before being the final two survivors in the main event of Survivor Series 1988. That is where things started to go sour and tensions rose. Hogan eliminated Savage during the 1989 Royal Rumble, and at The Main Event on Feb. 3, 1989. Savage accidentally fell on Miss Elizabeth which made Hulk mad as all hell. They even had a bash in the locker room where Elizabeth was being treated. It was one hell of a build-up to the end of The Mega Powers, and it ended up as one of the most memorable angles of the 1980s.
