71. The Rock vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin
As we already mentioned, these two guys brawled on three occasions. What is basically a rule when it comes to sequels is that they can never be better than the original. Funny enough this was never true when it came to these two. Their first clash happened at WrestleMania XV. If you remembered, this match was just too complicated, and it included interference of Vince McMahon and Mankind. The second duel these giants had was probably one of the best in WrestleMania history. In it, we all saw Austin made a deal with the devil, and with the help of McMahon managed to defeat The Rock. This match was based on the years of history between these guys and, but also on the dynamic between Stone Cold and McMahon which added to the weight of the fight in general. As a happy conclusion to the story, just two years later, The Rock and Stone Cold gave the audience one last fight as guys that were on the way out as full-time wrestlers.
