Dwayne „The Rock“ Johnson has arrived in the UK and will be living in the same Richmond palatial Surrey home that once was rented by ex lovers Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie in 2016.
Incredibly ripped physique and workout regime are things this 46-year-old former wrestler and now famous actor, is famous for. To keep his body in great shape, anywhere he goes, he brings his travel gym with him. And what’s suprisingly interesting about that gym, beside the fact that it has 40,000lbs of equipment, is that it has no mirrors.
Actor shared a snap on Instagram in which he posed on horse which starred in Gladiator and Robin Hood, revealing that he moved in new mansion.
The spectacularly mansion that was previously rented by many celebrities, such as Elton John and Fergie, has eight bedrooms, eight bathrooms, a garden gazebo, indoor swimming pool and a playground.
There are new images showing this large estate with the perfect set-up, actor will be using.
The Rock showed his impression adding the caption under the Instagram post in which he announced his arrival in the UK and the fact that he wasn’t in his native country during Thanksgiving, that read: „Good Thanksgiving hang with Rusty at the crib here in London. This ol’ boy’s a genuine star as he was Russell Crowe’s horse in one of my favorite films, GLADIATOR as well as ROBIN HOOD. Rusty’s clearly happy when Russell is on his back, because I heard that unmistakeable horse groan of „Holyyyy shit please don’t get on me“ when 6’5 265lbs of tattooed sunshine saddled up on him. Thankful to Rusty and his pal, Rosey for coming to the crib today for some Thanksgiving ridin’ w/ the ohana.“
The Rock might not be home for Thanksgiving but that doesn’t mean celebrating the holiday didn’t pass in traditional way. He posted another picture on Instagram that showed us huge turkey, and underneath was the caption: „This Thanksgiving was a unique one, in that it was the first time I’ve even not been back home in the U.S. of A. But here in London, we still cooked and laid out a big, sweet spread to give out thanks and boundless gratitude for out loved ones. The weird thing – is every Thanksgiving I gotta take a moment to remember exactly 27 years ago on Thanksgiving while living in Tampa, Fl we were so p*** broke, that we couldn’t even afford to buy a turkey, so we were praying someone would invite us over for Thanksgiving. Well, the Universe answered out prayers, because friends of ours called to say Happy Thanksgiving and we were like, „HAPPY THANKSGIVING WE’LL BE RIGHT OVER TO CELEBRATE WITH YOU GUYS K BYE!!“ They were like, „Uhhh okaaaay great, see you soon?“ A very true and f***** embarrassing story. I’m weird this way, but remembering s*** like this helps me live a better and more grateful life. I’m quite sure I need therapy for this, but until then tequila will be my loving and empathetic therapist.“
He continued with thanking for being able to see Hamilton Musical in London and having great time.
When it comes to his moving gym, he has a lot to be thankful, which he showed in another Instagram post, only this time it was in Vancouver during November, its caption read: „Sending a huge thank you to the hundreds of hard working crew responsinble for always setting up my Iron Paradise aka my traveling carnivaal in every location I film at… 40,000lbs of steal and iron. I can maintain and build upon and insane work schedule, but only due to having my anchor ready to go every morning at 5am. Grateful to the bone. Thank you guys. [sic]“
Last month, Dwayne informed his fans about his week of shooting Fast and Furious spin-off called Hobbs and Shaw by posting picture on his Instagram. Picture showed both of the title characters: Johnson’s Luke Hobbs and Jason Statham’s Deckard Shaw.
Statham and The Rock didn’t start filming scenes at the same time. Statham started in September, while The Rock’s first week was in October. The caption under Instagram picture of 2 title characters of spin-off read: „We either gonna get along or we gonna get it on. F**k getting along.“
Spin-off’s director, Davin Leitch, Universal Pictures Instagram along with Jason Statham were tagged in the post, and photo credit goes to Hiram Garcia.
The whole story of spin-off is not well known. Hobbs is diplomatic Security agent, and Shaw is notorious criminal. Why they are teaming up is currently unclear.
Cast also includes Idris Elba as the new villain, Vanessa Kirby as Shaw’s sister, and MI-5 agent, Helen Mirren as Shaw’s mother.
We can’t wait for this spin-off.
