Dallas Cowboys had something called the “Doomsday Defense” which was notoriously dominant, back in the 1960s–1970s and Lilly was the best player in that defense. He had 14 seasons with the team, and during his career, he was almost unblockable and thanks to that he helped his team win the Super Bowl VI. In 1980 Lilly was inducted into the Hall of Fame, and he was selected to 11 Pro Bowls, nine All-Pro teams, and had 94.5 sacks during his career.
