Dorsett was Cowboys’ second overall pick in the 1977 NFL Draft, and he proved to be the guy for the job. His career with Cowboys lasted 11 years (plus one in Denver), and during that time he accumulated a total of 12.739 yards for rushing and 72 touchdowns, he caught 382 passes for 3.432 yards and scored 13 TDs. Besides the impressive stats, he was also inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame, selected to four Pro Bowls and three All-Pro teams, won the 1977 Offensive Rookie of the Year award and helped lead the Cowboys to a Super Bowl victory in Super Bowl XII.
