Considering that the Model 3 will enter into production near the end of 2017, Tesla Motors announced that those who reserved their model will get it around the middle of 2018.
As it is written in the statement:“Today’s website update doesn’t reflect any change in our plans. We still plan to begin Model 3 deliveries in late 2017, and we adjusted the date on our marketing page to reflect more accurate timing for new/future reservation holders.”
The starting price for the Model 3 will be $35,000. According to the company, the new, long-anticipated model has already got 373,000 pre-orders. The next logical step for the company is to expand their customer base and they will certainly do so with the base trim.
Of course, some optional features will be available but you will need to add some money to the starting price. Once the customer base grows, Tesla Motors will be able to develop and gain profit.
