Slowly but surely, the Titans are now in the hunt for the divisional title as they are tied with the Texans at the top of the table. They do have a tougher schedule, but who knows what might happen after they got that big win against the Denver Broncos past Sunday. Titans are now traveling to Kansas City as they will be playing against another AFC West squad.
Week 14 was a big success for the Chiefs as they got the job done on Thursday Night Football against the Raiders. Now, they are leading the division while holding the second overall seed in the AFC. This team did all that while being on a short week. Chiefs had a mini-bye as they had a 10-day rest to recover and get ready for the Titans.
Tennessee’s defense is what is elevating them. Mariota has been decent all year, but even when he has a bad game, like he did versus that Denver defense, they still won the match because the defense showed up big time.
Chiefs D is also pretty good, and Mariota is going to have to play much better if the Titans want to end up victorious in this one, especially now when they are the visitors. Travis Kelce has been on fire as of late, and he showed what he can do in a win against the Raiders. Look for him to be featured in Chiefs’ offense again.
Titans will give KC a run for their money, but we are picking the Kansas City Chiefs in this contest. It’s going to be a tight match as the Titans will show why they are one of the up and coming teams in the NFL, but the quality of the Chiefs will prevail in the end. Kansas will pull away in the second half and win this game 27:19.
