There is no team in NFL that needs to bounce back from a tough loss more than Houston Texans. After looking like true Playoff contenders in first two weeks, they got smacked by the New England Patriots. And they need to prove to everyone, but especially to themselves, that they can face and overcome adversity.
Tennessee Titans have looked decent but not to the extent to impress us, to say the least. They got that big win against the Lions last Week when Mariota led them on a game-winning drive. But, they lost at home to the Raiders and scored only 10 points on one of the worst defenses in the NFL. DeMarco Murray is looking like his old self from the best days, but will that be enough in Houston against this hungry Texans D?
Houston needs to win this game. After that bad performance in Foxboro, they have a chance to get right back on track against Titans team. Good matchup for them, they are at home and looking to remain at the top spot in their division.
Osweiler and his offense should be able to rebound after that bad showing in New England. Texans have a lot of great weapons, and this team shouldn’t be scoreless in any contest.
This looks like an easy Texans win. Mariota will be in for a long day against hungry JJ Watt and this Texans defense. Titans will try to keep up the pace and hang with their rivals, but just won’t be able to do it. Texans should run away with this game. We are picking them to win this game 27:10.
