Atlanta headed into Week 13 showdown with the Kansas City Chiefs as the leading team in their division. They were on the verge of beating the Chiefs when they got into their own way, Ryan threw the pick and Chiefs took the two-point conversion back the other way, and that won the game.
On the other hand, we have the Tampa Bay Buccaneers that are the winners of three straight after handling the Chargers in San Diego. They are now tied with the Falcons at 7-5, and it is a good question who is going to win the division?
You can easily say that both of these squads don’t have a tough schedule going forward. Bucs will meet twice with the Saints, they will also play the Cowboys and the Panthers. Not bad. They could easily go 3-1.
On the other hand, we have the Falcons that will be going up against the Rams, Saints, Panthers, and 49ers. This looks like an even better schedule.
That is why we are going with the Falcons to still win their division. If these teams finish with the same record, Atlanta will take the title since they have won their last game against the Buccaneers. But, both of these squads are in a good position to make the Playoffs, especially if both finish last four matches with 3-1. Tampa is sixth right now in the Playoff picture. They have won three straight games against the Chiefs, Seahawks, and the Chargers. That is pretty good, and that is what gives us the confidence that they can go 3-1 in their last four duels.
