3Tom Cruise Vs. Dwayne Johnson
Mission: Impossible Fallout spot that is going to last 30 or 60 seconds is going to be aired during Super Bowl. This spot will be followed by a full trailer online, and this is not a small thing for Paramount/Viacom Inc. because it will give the fans the very first look at the new movie. This film will be premiered in the summer, and this spot is something we have seen a lot less during the NFL Super Bowl in the last few years.
If we take a trip to the past not so distant, we will realize that Paramount was famous for announcing big movies during the big game. In fact, in 2011, they introduced the first seconds of footage for Super 8, Captain America and Transformers: Dark of the Moon – all of that during the Super Bowl.
A lot of years have passed since that and Paramount lost some of its power. It turns out that big Super Bowl releases aren’t as popular nowadays. Instead of that, Walt Disney’s Star Wars movies are apparently the amazing launching pads for the last three years. That is the reason fans got a chance to take a glimpse of Transformers: The Last Knight when Rogue One debuted or to see bits of the Independence Day: Resurgence at the premiere of The Force Awakens.
This year, we are returning to the roots. Action move with Tom Cruise as the lead will show a clip during the game and this caused a lot of excitement among the fans. However, Mission: Impossible Fallout will have competition. Dwayne Johnson’s Skyscraper will also debut bits and pieces at the big game. This film is going to premiere in July with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson as the protagonist who tries to save his family from the Skyscraper that caught fire.
While people will be focused on the game between the Eagles and the Patriots, there is another Super Bowl match – Tom Cruise versus Dwayne Johnson.
