Arrow season 6 has started production which is excellent news for everyone! To celebrate the beginning, the show’s director Marc Guggenheim released a tweet showing everyone the cover side of the premiere episode script, which has a pretty awesome title – “Fallout.” As you will notice this episode is co written with Guggenheim’s executive producer Wendy Mericle and it will be directed by the great James Bamford who went from the show’s stunt choreographer to the place of the director.
As far as the Season 6 news is considered, unfortunately, they end here. We do not know much about what awaits us in the sequel, but we all know that the Season 5 finale left us in awe. If you recall the finale ended with a huge blast of the island on which Felicity, Dig, Thea, Curtis, Renee, Dinah, Slade “Deathstroke” Wilson, Nyssa al Ghul and William’s mother Samantha Clayton were still on. Somewhere mid episode we all found out that the whole island was rigged with hundreds of explosives; what’s worse, these explosives were connected to Adrian Chase himself, and as long as he is alive everyone will be OK. But that is where the situation turned for worse because Chase decided to teach Oliver a lesson by shooting himself in the head and by doing that he blew up the entire island.
What is very unlikely, although we all saw it, is that every member of the team Arrow died on that island. How do we know this, well the fact is that just recently CW announced that Rick Gonzalez (Renee “Wild Dog” Ramirez), Juliana Harkavy (Dinah “Black Canary” Drake) and Katie Cassidy (Earth-2’s Laurel “Black Siren” Lance) will all return to season 6 as regulars. Of course, that doesn’t have to mean that everyone else will be safe and there is a slight possibility that the team Arrow might come “crippled” to the Season 6. If you forgot, both Artemis and Talia al Ghul were on the island when it exploded, so their faith is in the air as well. No pun intended!
Season 6 Arrow Release Date
The return date of Arrow, played by Stephen Amell, is set for Thursday, October 12th at 9 pm ET/PT on The CW with the return of regulars like Emily Bett Rickards, David Ramsey, Willa Holland and more.
