The four horsewoman in NXT were amazing, and some people have said that they are the greatest female wrestlers of all time before they even got to the main roster. One of them was Sasha Banks who was holding the NXT Championship when she made her transition to Monday Night Raw in the summer of 2015. She was a heel at the time as she was battling Bayley in the NXT.
Then, the fans recognized just how good she is in the ring as they started cheering her even though she was a villain. That pushed the WWE to turn her face and have her feud against a heel Charlotte for the Raw Women’s Championship for the larger part of 2016. Even though everybody expected that babyface push that she got, the fact of the matter is that it was not as successful as it should have been.
Sasha is a good performer, but her promos as a face are cringe, to say the least. She has done a much better job being the villain. Now, with Bayley on the main roster, everybody wants to see her turn heel again and work with her going into the Summerslam. Here is what Banks herself thinks about that turn and whether or no she prefers being a good girl or a heel.
“Either one. Because a lot of people ask me, ‘When are you going to turn heel? When are you going to turn heel?’ Like, I don’t care because guess what? I’m going to be in the WWE for a very long time so you’re going to see both versions of myself for a while. So people need to shut up because that’s what I’m sick of hearing.”
