We are getting closer to the release of the new Samsung’s Galaxy Note 8, and we have only slightly more than a month to wait since the official introduction is scheduled for August. Samsung couldn’t stop the leaks, and we already know almost everything there is to know about the new flagship phablet.

The latest report comes from a trusted source, and according to the leak, the Note 8 is going to have a 6.3-inch Super AMOLED display, an 18.5:9 aspect ratio and 6 GB of RAM. Furthermore, we expect it to run Exynos 8895 or Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor with the dual 12 MP cameras attached to the back of the device and a 3,300 mAh battery. Also, the starting price of the Note 8 should be around $1,000.

Based on the previous iterations of the device, we can conclude that it will have a lot of similarities with Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+. We expect the Note 8 to come with a new Infinity Display and even better screen-to-body ratio than the S8 which is rated at 83%.

Thanks to a 3D CAD drawing of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 acquired by BGR, we can see all of the design details. However, this is not the design fans were hoping to see. According to several reports, Galaxy Note 8 should have come with a fingerprint scanner embedded into the display, but this is not going to be the case because the South Korean tech giant was unable to prepare all the necessary tech on time. This means that a fingerprint sensor will be at the rear side.

That’s not the worst thing, though. As you can clearly see, the fingerprint scanner in on the right side of the rear camera and people will generally have trouble putting their finger on the scanner without touching the camera. Speaking of the camera, it is broader than on the S8 and S8+, so the scanner has been pushed even further to the right. Samsung obviously wanted badly to get rid of the front-located home button and that is fine, but they should have waited until they got all the necessary things to do everything the right way.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will be unveiled in late August while it will go on sale a month later.
