Smackdown Live just got stronger for two big potential stars this past Tuesday. Dye Dillinger made his debut against Kurt Hawkins as The Perfect 10 got a huge ovation as soon as his theme song started. But, that wasn’t the biggest debut of the night as Shinsuke Nakamura showed up on SD just a couple of segments later. As soon as the violin started playing, the Nakamura received a thunderous ovation from the crowd.
Jim Ross has talked about the potential that these two have on the main roster on his newest blog. Here is what JR had to say about The Perfect 10.
“Tye Dillinger maximized his Smackdown Live minutes in a nice debut. Dillinger seems like a fundamentally sound performer who the live audience supports. Hopefully, their support will increase after the euphoria of the Canadian’s debut subsides and it gets down to business as usual.”
JR also voiced his opinion on Shinsuke Nakamura and wrote what it is going to take for the King of Strong Style to become a major player on the blue brand.
“Loved seeing Shinsuke Nakamura debut on Smackdown Live and I have ample optimism that the King of Strong Style will advance quickly into the main event picture. If Shinsuke can improve his English a bit he will complete the circle of what’s needed to ascend to the top of the WWE cards.”
A legendary commentator also briefly mentioned Baron Corbin by saying that he likes what he sees from the Lone Wolf in terms of his improvement. If he keeps developing both in-ring and mentally, there is no doubt in JR’s mind that Corbin will be a future main event talent for the WWE.
