Roman Reigns battled the Undertaker at the grandest stage of them all. The Big Dog has become only the second man to beat the Dead Man at Wrestlemania after Brock Lesnar did it in 2014. After the Mania, Roman has been involved in some of the best segments that Monday Night Raw has seen in the past couple of years. Firstly, Roman got booed and cursed out by the fans for 10 straight minutes after beating the Taker just one night before. Last week, he got demolished by the Moutain of a Man, Braun Strowman.
He just went berzerk on Roman has he even threw him while he was on the stretcher and then even turned around the ambulance in which Roman was laying. It was one of the best shows in which superstar has just given it to the other superstar. A brutal beatdown took place on Monday night.
Now, as a part of the storyline, it seems that Roman Reigns is going to miss a few shows in order to sell that destruction as a legitimate one. Strowman and Reigns were scheduled to fight at the Payback pay per view, but it seems that the match won’t happen because of the fact that WWE wants to sell Roman’s injuries.
Braun was supposed to be the first rival to Brock Lesnar, and the duel should have happened at the next Raw branded PPV after Payback, but now, it seems that the match is going to be pushed back. Reigns and Lesnar will be separated at least until the Summerslam. There are still reports that the company really wants to do this Lesnar vs. Reigns rematch at next year’s Wrestlemania.
