The rumors that Brock Lesnar is coming back to UFC are getting louder, and one of his WWE rivals commented on this. The Big Dog Roman Reigns said that he would love to see Lesnar fighting again in the octagon.
In the last few months Lesnar was teasing the world with his return to the UFC, and because of this, everyone thought that he would lose the Universal Championship to Reigns at Wrestlemania 34. But, he overcame Reigns and retained this title, so everyone was curious; What’s he up to? When will Lesnar join Dana White’s Promotion?
Not only that The Beast Incarnate beat Reigns at WM 34, but he also defended his title once again in a Steel Cage Match at the Greatest Royal Rumble. After that, The Champion signed a new contract with WWE, the terms of which are not yet known. Because of this the timeline of his UFC return is not yet known.
Roman Reigns stated that the time is right for Lesnar to try and make UFC comeback if that’s what he really wants. This is Reign’s personal opinion as his WWE character was trash talking Brock Lesnar for wanting to swap WWE for UFC.
Talking about this, Big Dog said: “We saw what he did last time, his last fight was (against) Mark Hunt, I believe, and he looked great. At his age, he’s not getting any younger, so I think this is the time to pull the trigger when it comes to that. It’s important that WWE superstars are successful in other genres of entertainment. I support him fully in what he does, and it’s pretty neat to be able to watch him going to the Octagon after wrestling.”
It would be interesting to see how Lesnar would fair in the UFC, but even more, what would the WWE look without him. Roman Reigns would most likely get his shot once again at Universal Title before Lesnar walks out of the company.
The Beast Incarnate is once again eligible for UFC return after his one-year suspension expired following his 2017 anti-doping penalty.
