We wrote before about the new addition from Rezvani, the Tank, and it is finally available, and what’s more interesting it is available for you to assemble it online. The Rezvani Tank starts at $178,000, which is pretty acceptable, but if you go all out and tick every box they have to offer, you will have to pay a hefty sum of $305,075. That means you have around $127,075 in available options to customize this beast SUV to your liking. What more could you want?!
The SUV will come as standard with a 6.4 L V8 unit capable of producing 500 HP and 430 pound-feet of torque that will be sent through an on-demand four-wheel-drive system. The list starts with performance parts that can further improve off-road capabilities, and if you like to boost it, you can go for optional suspension setups. These include the $5,500 Off-Road Suspension that will offer you a six-inch lift, Fox 2.5-inch remote reservoir shocks, Dynatrac ProRock 44/60 axle set with E-lockers, and 37-inch off-road tires. But that is not all, we are just getting started. An alternative to this is Off Road Extreme Suspension for $12,500, and with it, you will be graced with a Dynatrac ProRock XD60/80 axles with air lockers and an air compressor, plus it also includes Dynatrac ProGrip brakes and Fox’s 2.5-inch Internal Bypass Shocks with the firm’s Dual Speed Compression tech. But if you want to stop this off-road beast more efficiently you can opt for high-performance brakes with larger calipers for $3,500.
OK, besides these, well we can call them regular options, Rezvani also offers some “strange” choices as well which are all in the style of the military-inspired name it carries. To truly make this a tank you can pick between three offered levels of ballistic protection, and they stretch from protection for the glass, fuel tank, and engine bay, besides of course the regular protection of the body. Now what they have offered online is the B4, B6 and B7 protection grade where the B4 is protection against pistol rounds, and it will cost you $45,000. Second in line is the B6 is protection against assault rifle rounds, and it costs $60,000 and last but not least is the B7 version which is basically a protection against armor-piercing bullets, and it will set you back for $97,000. To wrap all this protection up, you can also equip your Tank with a FLIR Thermal Night Vision System for $5,500 if you don’t want anyone creeping up on you at night.
As far as aesthetics are considered, there is not much to choose from when it comes to Rezvani Tank and its looks. You can alter the exterior color (nine colors available) or pick a custom shade, and you can opt for dark gray or black versions of the wheels that come standard in the brushed aluminum finish, and it will cost you around $500. The interior, on the other hand, offers a few more options. From the start, your Tank comes standard with black, camel, or red leather, but you can opt for a full leather interior which will cost you $3,500, and with it, you will get the covered dashboard in hide and added suede headliner. If you are a fan of details, there is an option for color stitching which is an additional $500, and hand-stitched leather floor mats are $650. If you want your music played loud inside you can also upgrade to a $2,500 Alpine stereo with support for Apple CarPlay.
And if all this isn’t enough for you, the company also offers two more accessories for the Tank – a weatherproof car cover for $750, and a battery trickle charger for $175. This monster is pretty interesting and not to mention pretty expensive, but it will easily rival vehicles such as Mercedes-Benz G-Class or one of modernized Toyota Land Cruisers.
