After their strong start to the season, the wheels have come off the Eagles wagon. They can’t get it together and win a game. Their offensive line is causing a lot of problems for them as Wentz needs to roll out almost every other play. He is not throwing from the pocket as he isn’t given enough time to make plays.
You can’t really blame him for Eagles‘ downfall as his weapons are also not helping him much. This Philly offense should have a better match on Sunday as they will be going up against the Redskins, the squad that is not known for their defensive mastery.
Washington is another team that hasn’t been able to live up to the expectations in the past couple of rounds. They have lost two duels in a row and are now far from the Playoffs. They still have a shot at the postseason but need to start winning right now.
Kirk Cousins has had a great season, and he is about to get paid big bucks in the offseason. But, the year is not over, and he needs to keep playing at the highest level possible in order for the Redskins to re-insert themselves into the Playoff picture.
We just don’t trust that Eagles‘ O-line and Wentz’s weapons. This team has fallen flat since their 3-0 start to the season, and they haven’t given us anything to make us believe that they can get the job done against a respectable team like Washington. We are picking Kirk Cousins and his crew to win the game in Philly. This is a divisional rivalry, so we expect Eagles to put up a big fight, but fall just short.
